When used properly, 3M autmotive tapes are extremely durable and will securely hold the accessories in place for the life of your vehicle. When installing accessories with 3M tape, it is very important to prepare the surface of the vehicle where the tape will stick. Always test fit your parts before attempting installation. Painted surfaces need to have all wax removed. The area should be thoroughly cleaned with an alcohol based cleaner (ex. Windex) several times. Only once the area is squeaky clean, should you install your accessory. Again, when prepped properly, 3M automotive tape WILL NOT budge. Therefore, self-adhering items may NOT be returned because they "fell off" your vehicle due to improper installation.
